Prosodie is a French company founded in 1986.
At first, Prosodie was named SJT. In 1997, Alain Bernard (founder and then Chairman of the company) carried out a first LBO and listed the company on the French Stock Exchange. SJT became Prosodie.
In 2001, Prosodie purchased several companies in France (MGN), Spain (SIATVOX) and in the US.
In 2007, Prosodie left the Stock Exchange due to another LBO composed of Georges Croix, Andre Saint-Mleux (CEO & CFO respectively) together and theinvestment fund Apax Partners.
A few years later, Prosodie purchased Servicom 2000 in Spain, stopped its activities in the US and decided to set up an office in Belgium.
In May 2011, Prosodie purchased Internet Fr (located in France) and Level IP (located in Italy), two companies positioned on the market of web hosting.
In July 2011, Prosodie is acquired by Capgemini Group and become the first stone of it ‘new business models’ line of services.
In September 2011, Prosodie acquires the mobile agency Backelite, specialized in building and running mobiles applications on news screens (smartphone, tablets and connected TV).
Prosodie manages height datacenters: five in France, two in Spain and 1 in Italy (Milan). These datacenters provide us the resources to run applications for more than 500 customers in the world.
Prosodie is certified ISO 9001-2000 for its activities of development and production in France. Prosodie is also certified ISO 9001 and 27001 for its activities in Valencia (Spain).
